Oswego County E-911 Director Retires

The Oswego County Legislature's Public Safety Committee presents a certificate of appreciation to Oswego County E-911 Director Michael Allen on his retirement. He also received a standing ovation from the full Legislature for his 34 years of service to the county. Allen managed the day-to-day operations of the 24-hour emergency call center since its inception in 1997. He is crediting with updating and modernizing the county's emergency communications systems and improving training standards to establish a highly regarded unit that operates as an model to other emergency centers. A founding member of the New York State 911 Coordinators Association, Allen leaves an enduring legacy of dedication and service in his work and community.
