Two Hiring Events in Fulton November 14 and 15 -

Local Companies Seek Motivated Candidates to Fill Several Quality Positions

OSWEGO COUNTY - Oswego County Workforce New York has two informational hiring events coming up for those interested in making a career change or beginning an exciting new career path. The first session runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14 for Remedy Intelligent Staffing. The second program runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, November 15 for PaperWorks Industries. Both events take place in the county office building at 200 N. Second Street in Fulton.

"We are always looking for ways to bring local employers together with potential job candidates," said Christine Weaver, director of employment and training with Oswego County Workforce New York. "These events are valuable tools to introduce people to the many and varied career opportunities available to them."

Remedy Intelligent Staffing is looking for qualified applicants to fill the following positions: machine operator, assembler, forklift operator, sanitation worker, maintenance and production worker.

"Remedy Staffing is expanding and has a tremendous need for quality people looking for a career in manufacturing, especially if they have a good work ethic," said Meghan Durso, director of client partnerships with Remedy Intelligent Staffing of Syracuse. "We work with candidates to find a role for them and to help them get the training they need to transition to a full and rewarding career."

PaperWorks Industries, a leading North American integrated full-service packaging provider located in Baldwinsville, is currently recruiting for entry level machine support and higher-level positions including press, die-cutter, and folder/gluer operators, and maintenance technicians.
