Oswego, NY -Following a very successful inaugural year in 2018, the Oswego State Men's Hockey Booster Club announced today that their Rockin' The River Gala will be even bigger and better than the first. Joining Pathfinder Bank as a major sponsor this year, G.S. Steamers Bar & Grill will provide an opportunity for event participants to leave with a cash prize that could be as much as $60,000.

Cam Caruso will once again kick-off the evening's entertainment that will be highlighted by The Billionaires, who return by popular demand. Renowned as one of the region's best party bands, The Billionaires are stacked with some of the top local musicians in Central New York, including, former Laker goalie Darrel Hunt on the drums.

Hosted by the Broadwell Hospitality Group in the Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center at 26 E. First St. in Oswego and staffed by the nationally-ranked Oswego State Men's hockey team, the event promises a little something for everyone - including top quality entertainment, raffles of professional and collegiate sports memorabilia, tickets to professional sporting events and chances to walk away with a major cash prize.

Another highlight of the April 6 event will be the culmination of a raffle that includes a photo of one of Oswego's famous sunsets captured by Laker head coach Ed Gosek and then transformed into a full-size painting by international artist and former Laker defenseman Mike Wills. Both items have been signed by their respective artists.

Pathfinder Bank will cap off the evening with a fireworks display over the Oswego river.
